If we're not winterized properly, it's the dealers fault since they did it.
Will definitely check everything for functionality before we head out this spring!

This is my first full size travel trailer I came from a hybrid and I’m now in a white hawk so the addition of a outside kitchen and more water capacity I’m nervous but I ran a bunch of antifreeze through everything! Only thing I’m concerned about is the antifreeze from Walmart only protects to -20 and it’s been -16 with the wind chill lol hopefully my new baby isn’t a strainer come spring time.

I winterized mine last night with AF for the 1st time since being a TT owner. I usually blow it out but, upon inspection, I noticed the handles and lines directly behind the outdoor shower on the back were frozen the night before. I am pretty positive no damage was done as the lines weren't under any pressure. I used a space heater to quickly thaw everything back there today and winterized. I am glad I did because what I believed to be a bone dry trailer from the original draining and blow out had A LOT of water left in the lines ahead of the AF when it finally came out. That's good to know for future really cold spells.

Look at your jug again, all the Supertech RV antifreeze I buy at Walmart says it protects down to -50.

For those of ya that live in places like Canada and Alaska my hats off to ya, oh wait it's froze to my head. I don't know how you do it for those long periods of time.

It's so cold I may have lost my mind because I'm goin hunting Friday, Sat and Sunday. I'm sure there will be nothin comparable. Being one with nature by sittin in a tree at day break with temps in the teens verses a recliner in front of a fireplace with a plate full of eggs, grits, Mader gravy, bacon and toast in my lap

I'm right there with you Woodworker. I was duck and deer hunting all weekend. Highs in the mid-30's, lows in the low-to-mid teens. The biggest issue was the wind though. It was blowing 10-20mph just about all weekend. I love it though (for some darn reason).

Not so much with us. Glad to be hooking up this afternoon and w/b pulling out and heading to the warmer [oops snow in Tallassee] south. Anyway we will slide south and it should be back in the 50's by the time we get to the Gulf. My final prep was to add a sound bar to the tv system over the fireplace. The recliner in front of the fireplace watching tv with great sounds is what I'm looking forward. Will maybe switch over to one of the hunting channels and catch you leaning against that tree.

Funny how we can inflict pain upon ourselves and call it fun without being able to explain it. All we know is that it is fun, no rhyme or reason.
Maybe we should look up ole Bob Newhart and see what he thinks

It is what it is, as the saying goes. DW and I use to Snow ski until we turned 50. We found cold was necessary for good snow so learned to like it. We dressed for it so its sort of like hunting. You don't go out there in jeans and a t shirt. Anyway gave up the slopes when shoulder and knee replacements loomed on the horizon. Seems the cold and snow wasn't as much fun without the skiing. Good luck hunting, be safe!
