Before buying our Pinnacle we looked at several other brands, but kept coming back to Jayco for the overall fit and finish - to us it’s a step above the other brands, unless of course you’re talking about the semi-custom units that very few of us can afford.

Have we had some issues with the Pinnacle, yes, but thankful for the two-year warranty and we’re getting everything sorted out. Friends have a Grand Design and it’s had it’s share of problems too.

Has anyone had dealings with Ibex or No Boundary (NoBo) brands?

When we bought ours we did see some that looked like were better quality but they were out of our budget.

By comparison the Keystones in our price range were lacking in the fit and finish.

My Jayco has never really had any problems that was its own fault. The only complaints I have about it are features that it just wasn't built with, such as dual pane windows or the heated and enclosed underbelly. Any repairs or costs incurred have been from incidents or damage that wasn't anything to do with the trailer or Jayco's faults. I'd buy another Jayco, sure. But if I saw another trailer from a different manufacturer that was everything I was looking for I wouldn't refuse it just because it wasn't a Jayco. There are a few lines of trailers that I wouldn't even go look at based on what I know about them in general.

Probably the Grand Design Solitude we went to look at one but couldn't see spending the money until we pay ours down.

To keep this alive:

I know everyone was referencing alternate trailers, but any suggestions when it comes to alternate Motorhomes.

Looking to upgrade from my JayFlight to a Greyhawk, but want make my research as thorough as possible.

I recommended a couple of books that are worth the price. The fact is that you get facts and not someone's evaluation of one brand name or maybe two. If you are researching then use the comparison guides for both travel trailers & fifth wheel and the motor home comparison guide both by Randall Eaton.

Here you will get feedback on one type of trailer or coach, and while that is good it is limited. Do broader research.
