Ahhhh, one more week of camping for 2014 and it is the second week of December. Seann45, will you be digging yourself out of that snow, or joining us down here? :-)
We need to follow the WINTER heat and head south from the Clearwater Beach FL area to Curry Hammock State Park, in Marathon (FL Keys) on the Atlantic Ocean for a week.
I will probably to bring my WINTER clothes with (Tee Shirts with sleeves) for the climate change down here.
A lot different than our previous lives living on the Il/Wi border all those years....
Actually, DW dropped of the absentee ballots, on the first day (like about 2 weeks before election day).
Have a GREAT DAY, all!!! I will be thinking of you Seann45 in December.

We leave for a long weekend today. Not off the grid, just on the edge of it.
Next week my rig goes into the shop for some tire blowout repairs so we may not get to camp much in Dec.

Seann, I'm here minding the fort. Thus far the weather has been so good for Saskatchewan that I am beginning to get nervous about what we are in for.
I will be joining the migration south in about 5 years and will not feel what I'm feeling right now....envy! Enjoy your winter or should I say summer!

That 5 will go fast but at times you will think it is not fast enough. Then one day you will ask yourself "how did I ever find time to w*rk?"

The only problem I have now that I am retired is that
I DON'T GET A DAY OFF ANYMORE....
DW keeps coming up with these work orders (24/7)...
- Fix the privacy fence..
- Clean out the old shed, tear down the old shed, and buy a new shed
- Got it delivered
- Seal between the concrete foundation and the new shed.. (keeps bugs out)
- Put everything into the new shed.x!#^%&!
- Today, running NEW electric out to the shed
- Tomorrow add more sprinklers to her rain barrel fed garden
(crap, it has not rained in 2 weeks, we are down to less than 200 gallons in the rain barrels.. may not need to rush that project)
.
.
.
.
....and I have to get my own Brandy Manhattan.
Yawn... time for my afternoon siesta in the TT while the Commander in Chief is watching Dr. Phil.. set my alarm for 30 min Ahhhhh

Well I sure hope that the time goes fast, but not to fast so as I can not enjoy some of the good times at the trailer. It is going to be a long wait as you well know that camping does not open till May here and with the silly white stuff that will soon fly around along with the out door freezer...it is going to be as per usual bordering on nuts!

Don when you think about it we work 24/7. We get PAID to stay home. So we are now "on duty" even when we are asleep... I need a raise for this amount of w*rk

Well Seann, I can not wait until I'm working 24/7 and I will do so gladly without a raise.

Paintinfool - Can you give me a complete sequence, i.e., turn on pump first, then open faucet? Should all drains be closed? We tried for about 30 minutes with no success.
