Norcold fridge issue
So due to a couple back surgeries our 2019 Jayco 28BHBE has sat in our yard for the last 2 years. Basically used by visitors as a place to sleep, etc.
I have it plugged in to a GFCI outlet like previous years. Last year everything was fine.
So roll on 2022 summer. Turned Refrigerator on, and put some water bottles in. Few hours later I checked and the fridge was warm. I checked the freezer and it is ice cold.
It's a Norcold N8X.
Anyone know where to start? Is this a common issue? Should I start with the thermistor?

Might need more than a few hours. RV level?

It takes more than “a few hours” for the fridge to cool especially if it is 80 or above outside. The fridge cools from the freezer and I suggest using remote temperature gauges in both to see any progress.
There are a number of threads on these RV fridges and with a search here you should get some help.

Look into one of those battery powered fans to circulate the air inside. Then the fridge will get some of the cold air that is at the top faster.

Thanks. I have turned it on and it is 80 outside. I had it off overnight.

I have my BBQ probes setup. Thanks for that tip. I did read a few other posts last night. I'm hoping I was just too fast in judging if it was broken. Fingers crossed. It was over 90F here yesterday. I will update this evening.

Trailer is perfectly level, I checked again just to make sure. I did forget that part but seems it was fine. Thanks.

I have refrigerator thermometers in my fridge and freezer. Any recommendation on remote ones? Sounds like a good idea.

I am just using my BBQ probes. It's a Weber igrill. It goes straight to my phone with Bluetooth.

So it started at 69/70F. It's been on for 2.5hrs and it's down to 59F. Looks like it's going to be okay and I just jumped the gun.

Problem solved. Thanks for all the help! I jumped the gun. Never turned the fridge on in this heat. Temperature probes shows over 5 hours it's working
