Painted rigs vs. Non painted

Looking to upgrade from our current Jay flight 26bh to a 2018 Greyhawk 31FSP. I drove it yesterday and loved it. My question is about the paint. This particular rig had the celestial blue paint package which basically adds an extra cost of about 8k compared to same non painted 31fsp i am looking at. Is it worth it? Dw says no. It looks great but it's black and blue. We camp in Florida a lot but live in NJ. It was 90 deg when i was looking at the rig yesterday and you could feel the heat coming off the paint.
Any other advantages or disadvantages? I maintain all my vehicles so whether its paint or not it will be washed and waxed so to me that's not a deciding factor.

Any Resale value difference?

Thx

They look a little fancier, but it does nothing to change functionality. Our 08 SENECA had full paint, but it was on the dealer's lot, I would not have ordered it. Just my 2 cents..

From what I understand the decals fade over time. So a full paint model should look better longer. Is the 8k upgrade worth it, I don't know. I have been told not to wax the decals. I was told on the internet so it must be true.

We have had two with and one without. Ours are always exposed to full sun year round and the one without over 10 years did start to fade (decals and such, as mentioned).

The full-body paint looks nice (longer, maybe) but we haven't had the other two for as long.

Did it help the resell value, probably. But we were after a specific floor plan (the most important to us) and were happy with what was included.

We only buy used and wouldn't choose that upgrade if buying new.

I have seen to many colored rigs fading, especially on the front and rear caps.

I would not order one that way.

Have a 2019m Pinnacle on order with full body paint. Previous unit was not. Took a LOT of work to keep it looking good. I gladly spent the extra money for paint. Its not just paint its also clear coated over the paint. In my eyes, worth the money.
