Slow landing gear

I have a Jayco Eagle HT 30.5MBOK and use the Anderson Ultimate hitch which requires lifting and lowering the rig several inches each time I hook or unhook the FW. The landing gear does it's job but it is reeeeally slow. It's a single motor and I'm certain it's just the motor design and how it's geared. Question: Does anyone know if there is a bolt-in replacement that is faster than this slow-poke motor?

Are you plugged into shore power when you raise and lower the landing gear?

I know silly question but has it always been this way? Weak battery if you are not plugged to power.

On a side note, I do not know where Jayco gets their electric motors but all of them in my unit are SLOW. The awning takes way too long to roll out or in, 120V or not.

No, I normally am not hooked up to shore power when operating the landing gear but I have tried it both ways and it makes no difference. I usually have the truck hooked up with engine running.

I was hoping that someone has upgraded the motor to something faster that could steer me in the right direction.

Have you lubricated the jacks recently? Is the gearbox secured tightly?

Make sure the battery ground to frame is good. Also make sure the crimps of the connector to ground wire is good. I had a similar issue on another brand and that's what I found.

Thanks for the input guys. I've checked the wiring to the landing gear and it seems to be secure. I don't think anything is really wrong with it. It's just a slow and low geared motor. It doesn't seem to be laboring or struggling, just slow. The dealer tells me it is normal, that nothing is wrong and they all operate this way.

My guess is the motor is attached to a gear reduction box to help lift the weight of the FW.
This is probably what makes it slow.
They do sell replacement assemblies that are either complete or partial.
I am not sure where my dad bought his when the shaft at the motor broke.
