Successful first year!

Well, bittersweet moment, but I think this is our last weekend with our new TT. Had a very successful first year (9 trips-44 nights) and have already booked our site in Gatlinburg, TN for spring break week 2013. I can tell you that this camper has brought our family closer together. We have quality family time and our teenage boys actually talk to us! We're able to play UNO at 11:30 pm because our 6 year old daughter insists on it and not feel guilty about sleeping in the next morning. My hubby and I wish we had bought this big hunk of metal years earlier. We've definitely missed out!

Unfortunately I think this past weekend will be our last as well. Our weekends are book through the end of the month. November here in the Chicagoland area I think will be too cold to take my little ones camping. Spring isn't too far away.

Kim - that's a great story about your kids and family time. It seems to me that this is what camping with the family is really all about. Hope you continue to have great trips with your family !
