Thinning out

We noticed that the campground we are at has open pull through sites empty. The office in Orlando told us we can now stay longer due to low RV bookings. When we booked last year for our site they said the have more room now. We can sed the campground is not full now. I guess people can't pay the high gas price. This may have start a slow down in the RV industry. After all the RV sold I hope families can go camping.

I think gas prices will have an effect on RV travel and manufacturing, but to what extent we don't know yet.

I made a post a couple of days ago about all RVs becoming park models because we won't be able to afford to move them. It was an attempt at humor, and hopefully wrong.

That said, it's not unusual for snowbirds to leave Florida around this time. Many plan to stay until April, but leave early for various reasons. I hope that's all it is. Enjoy Florida while you are here.

Well that’s a relief and it’s two fold:

1st, good news about availability

2nd, on the thinning out I thought you were talking about my hair

We went to a KOA in Orlando Florida and booked for a month. There was a cancellation so we got a very nice site. We were very lucky.
