Trip With Nothing Planned

We have been RVing for 4 years now. We just took our first trip ever that had nothing planned. All other trips were to visit National Parks, etc. We loved those but this one is different. There is virtually no schedule other than moving from one campground to another. Everyday is a new discovery, no pressure to be anywhere or see anything. We take 4-5 trips a year and from now on at least one trip will be like this. Just an amazing relaxing time.

I love trips like this. I like having at least one goal so we have a direction when we hit the road. I'm fine if we don't make it there.

DW, hates traveling without reservations. She likes spending lots of time planning. She also likes knowing we have a place to sleep each night. I have yet not to find a place each night.

I hope when we retire we can travel like this more often.

Jaygiven, that's a good point. Our goal was just to travel the coast and hit places where we could take the dog off leash. We love to just stroll!

Hell! We've camped like that for 40+ years.
I/we don't like to be somewhere, just in case something more interesting catches our eye.
