Tsb #18-003

Has anyone else received TSB#18-003 regarding the Dometic/Atwood furnace wiring. We received it and I immediately called the dealer where we purchased our 29MVP and they had no idea what I was talking about. Is this typical that Jayco does not notify dealers at the same time (or prior to) notifying owners? I would think dealers/service shops would already have the fiberglass tube repair offered by Jayco.

My dealer knew all about when I emailed today. I’m really in no rush because it’s not furnace season.

We got ours a few days back...I plan to tackle it myself. If the wires are burnt or melted then I will call my dealer. Otherwise I plan to tie them up off the exhaust if I can get to them.

Just removed the main cover from our Greyhawk 29MVP and our serial number was in the group referenced. There was a white wire tie on the wires holding them together but they could have come in contact with the exhaust tube but it would have been a stretch.(see first pic). I added an additional tie (Black) to hold the wires up a little more securley (see second pic). I believe this will work and I want have to wait until September for my appt with our dealer.
