When it gets out remove your finger from the out button or it will continue to roll back up and be backwards.

Switch is upside down easily fixable. Remove panel, squeeze fingers on switch and turn it over. Or if it's two wires, one top and one bottom reverse them.

Reverse polarity to the motor is what reverses it so Grump's solution may be the easy way.

Yup. It's an easy fix. Did they offer to fix it during your PDI?

Sounds like the awning was rolled up the wrong way once. If you keep holding the switch to deploy it, it'll keep on going and wrap up the other way.

The canopy should be on top of the tube as you are rolling it in or out.

Good Morning, easy fix …. Pop the cover off of your switch, turn it 180 and good to go.
Ive read that holding the button continuously while it opens and cycles through works but it doesn’t

It sounds like the awning has flipped like others have said. If you hold the button, the awning will cycle back to the camper until it touches. This is mostly how "OUT" becomes "IN" and vice versa. Now, if the awning is over the top and "OUT" is "IN", then there's a problem.
