2015 Jay Feather Ultra Lite SLX 19XUD

We are from Pittsburgh area and just love our new Jayco! I was just so tired of tent camping, especially because I grew up camping (my father started when I was 3 with 18' then 23' then 25' Class A).

Welcome to The Forum! and Congratulations on the Jay Feather. That's a nice looking unit, and with your TV, they look like a fine match! Gave up the tent about 15 years ago, myself. Your back will thank you!

Happy Camping!

How has your highlander been as a TV? We have a Pilot with 500 lbs less capacity and are eying the 19xud but we have 2 children and often bring bikes and kayaks as well.

Its been great unless you have a leadfoot - it drives like you're supposed to LOL. Jayco recommends against any bike racks on the bumper so we put two bicycles inside. We carry a lot of cargo & supplies and our two boys (men) are tall 23 & 18 so not light and we sag a bit with weight (within appropriate limits but at the top end - no cheating overages!) - 4 bike and the addition of kayaks is questionable even if you put your kayaks on the roof of your Pilot I still think that's probably pushing it - I wouldn't do it in my situation but if kids are young it's probably a wash..
We really luv it - It is a great RV for the price/weight.
