Smile Another new Jayco couple diving in!

After many years of 'tenting it' and deciding it was time to 'rise above' ground level when sleeping, me and my wife just recently purchased our first pop-up- a 2000 Jayco Quest J8.
While cruising around Memorial day weekend in a nearby town, we rolled through a family owned RV lot and saw exactly what we were looking for- a quaint little pop-up. It was unlocked so we invited ourselves in, took a look around, and fell in love.
After some crafty barganing skills on my wife's part, we brought it home two days later, set it up in the driveway, started cleaning & improving (overdue needed maintenance), and can't wait to take it on its maiden voyage (which may be this weekend!).

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Tyreguy! We have fond memories of our first rv, a pop-up. Going to that from a tent was like moving into a mansion for us. Let us know how the maiden voyage goes!

We bought our one and only pop-up used and then used it for 17 years! Paid $1,750 for it and sold it for $1,000! We camped in it in 22 different states and never made New England. Fond memories that our now grown childen still love to talk about. Enjoy and have fun!
