First time camper
Hello members,
My wife and I just got our new Jay Flight 22FB home and are eager for our first camping trip. This is our first camper, we have been motorcycle touring for years, but have always stayed in Hampton Inns and the like. Hope to see you on the road.
Steve

Welcome. Same situation for us having bought our Greyhawk in late August last year. It is very nice to not have to scout out a motel each evening. And my wife loooooves having more storage than saddlebags and a sissy bar bag.

Welcome and congratulations. We too toured for a few summers on the bike, but we towed a Lesure-lite pop up behind. After putting 7,000 miles the last summer DW decided BTDT and wanted something little more comfortable...hence we purchased a TT. You will love it and, hopefully maybe even be able to bring the bike with....best of both worlds !

Welcome and glad you are here. Sure hope you get to camp lots more and have a better experience than the motel route.
We average over 100 nights in ours a year and it's a great lifestyle.

Welcome. We also migrated from a touring bike with tent n trailer to nights at Hampton Inn to the truck n 5th wheel. DW still rolls her cloths when packing the 5er and I'm not about to tell her different.

Had to chuckle "have a better experience than the motel route"! DH is attending a 5-day course/workshop next week about 90 minutes from home. I suggested that hauling the TT, dog, and me (I WFM aka Work From Home for a large computer company) might be fun and cheaper ~ $30/night (water, elec, high-speed Wi-Fi, honey-wagon service) at a gated RV park on the Sacramento Delta. My business calls are all VoIP so we'll see how it goes, I'll take the hotspot just in case.
