G’day All

Hi everybody! My names Mike. My partner Sue and I have just bought our first caravan/pop up camper and have already started to tear it down.
It’s a Jayco Songbird from the 70’s.
Just wondering if anyone would be able to help out with links to a manual as we nearly decapitated ourselves dropping it down. I would also like to pull apart and refurbish the arms and bed rails.
Oh and we’re from the beautiful Central Coast of New South Wales in Australia.
Cheers Sue and Mike

Welcome to JOF. I can't help you but someone may just be able to. Take and post some pics before and as you go. It may spur someone to do it themselves!

BTW we have a lot of Aussies on this forum.

You just have to be lucky someone has a manual from those years.
I'm sure lots of people from this continent like to camp on your continent as it is pretty safe there from the covid. Lots of wide open spaces.
Did you try on the Aussie web?
Good luck with your endeavors and keep us posted. We are just dreaming to be camping on your continent. The internet is connected, but over water is a costly and slow process.

I went to this site:https://www.cunninghamcampers.com/do...-owner-manuals

Clicked on the upper left hand box 1973 (Campers Generic) and downloaded the pdf and it was about a pop-up camper. Not sure if it helps, but it's a start.

Greetings! Welcome to the forum from Midway USA.

Take a look at the Popup Portal. There is a "resource library" with hundreds of owner's manuals. https://www.popupportal.com/resource...ries/jayco.74/

You also may want to consider joining that group. As the name implies most of the members have pop ups and there is a lot of knowledge among the members who are happy to share.

Thanks

Thanks everyone! In particular the Pop up portal as I think I’ve solved the problem.
Cheers
