Greetings from Kenosha Wisconsin

Hello! We purchased a 2013 X23F and will take delivery on 3/9/13, then it's off to Bristol TN on 3/13/13 for the NASCAR race! It's about 700 miles each way. Am I nuts for taking such a long trip right away? TV is a 2009 Tahoe..dealer installing 4 pt Equalizer WD w/anti-sway. I've been pulling a 1995 Coleman Fleetwood Destiny PUP for years, but haven't ever pulled anything like this yet.

Welcome and congratulations on your new Jayco. I don't think your nuts for going on 700 mile trip right out of the box, but I would suggest taking a torque wrench and checking your nuts (lug nuts) on the trailer periodically along the way to Bristol. Last time I went to Bristol there were no stands on the backstretch, just a grassy hill. Guess I dated myself!

Hi and welcome,

You may also check you manual on the frequency for manual brake adjustments. You may need to adjust them during your trip.
