Hello!

Hi everyone. I just signed up today. My husband Ron and I live in NJ and we are both retired. We just bought Jayco Alante, 27A. We have rented in the past and gone out with friends who are long time RVers, but really, this is all new to us. As newbies we are making all the mistakes and trying to get them out of the way! lol We have taken a few weekend trips and one longer trip last month to FL for two weeks. We are lucky to already have a vehicle we can tow 4-down. Our next outing will be back to FL in January and we are trying to decide if we should continue thru the panhandle of FL and onto TX and back home to NJ. Looking forward to your insight and wisdom! ;-)

Welcome to JOF! So far as your next route, Mother Nature will likely call the shots if you’re thinking Texas panhandle early in the year. Following the gulf coast is guaranteed to keep you as far south as possible.
