Hello and Greyhawk questions

We've just upgraded from a travel trailer to a Greyhawk 31FS, class C. We've been looking for two things 1) a get started checklist when we arrive at the campsite, since we want to flip all the right switches, in all the right order and 2) best advice for what to do when RV is in winter storage (battery, starting generator, etc.)

Any advice?

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Greyhawk. I'm not much help with your unit. Post your question on the Class C and you will find people that can help you out.

Here's the sequence I use. Other have different opinions, especially about slide deployment. I deploy my slides after leveling simply to make it easier to access the storage bays.
1. Turn steps off
2. Hook up shore power
3. Blocks under leveling legs (5 legos per jack to reduce jack workload)
4. Manually level (don't like the auto leveling feature)
5. Hook up water and sewer (may open gray tank, depending on length of stay)
6. Deploy slides
7. Turn on water heater electric side (I replaced the tankless)
8. Go check out the campground

I have my MH at the house and it's always plugged in. No battery maintenance to do except check the water level occasionally. I keep a small electric heater and a dehumidifier in my MH to keep the humidity down. I don't run them continuously, just from time to time to keep the mold at bay. I run the genset once a month. Always park the rig with a full tank of gas to be able to run the genset for when your home power goes away. I have some buried #10 wiring going to the house to run some independent outlets for just those occasions. I try to drive the MH at least every couple of months to exercise the tires and drive train.
