Howdy From AZ- Another Newbie
Yes we finally took the plunge! Traded our loved little 22ft TT for a new Jayco 29.5 RKS fiver. It's already spring here in AZ, and we've had her out twice...tows like she's not even there....OK except for that whole 50 feet long thing between the two of them. But worth it totally, we don't fall over each other, and have a real bedroom and kitchen. So far, the build quality is quite good, a few issues with the finish quality but nothing big. I read all over this forum prior to purchase and think we did well. Best value we could find in the market.:hihi:

Welcome too, from north of the border. It was one year ago yesterday that I crossed back over the border from my stay in Yuma last year. I hope that things will happen that I can get back there next year as this winter has been long, long, long, and they are forecasting more snow this weekend.

Yea! Glad it turned out well for you! Even better that the Jayco Owners Forum was a big help to you! And even betterer (can I say that lol) that you've had your 5'er out twice so far and love it! Congrats!

Thanks for the welcome folks!
Now the big question...anybody have any idea where the manual crank for the slide room might be? I mean just in case... I like to be prepared...but I'll be danged if I can find it...dealer said... "well it's either under the floor or wheel well"...most helpful ~~~sarcasm off~~

Congrats on the upgrade, I just got back from a week in Tucson, not camping though. The JW Marriott Starr Pass is gorgeous. First time I seen cactus.

Your hand crank should be in one of the storage compartments. It should look like the crank for the stabalizer jacks.
