Introduction

Hi All. I'm not a new Jayco owner but new to the forum. By way of introduction, my wife an I have been RVing for about 20 years. Like many others we started with a tent trailer and had some good experiences. However, we learned during our first season that we needed something else and bought a Jayco Class C. In 2006 I was seduced by the big diesel temptation and bought a Seneca. Work has always interfered with our desire to get more miles on our motorhomes but we still have some great memories. Last Thursday we drove our new 2018.5 Seneca home. We're climbing the learning curves and working out the bugs now. My strongest suggestion to anyone who hasn't got some truck driving experience and considering a similar move is to do your Freightliner homework. Ask questions, ask more questions and make sure you understand the answers. Drive it around as much as the dealer will let you. This truck is definitely not a Chevy Kodiak, but I sure do love the air horn.

Welcome to the forum, sounds as if you will be a great contributor. There are some great people here and a lot of knowledge. And thanks for the tip on learning about the Seneca. We love this lifestyle and are already considering moving from a TT to an RV. I imagine when we do so there will be a lot to learn...thanks!

Welcome, share your wisdom and learning. It is surprising how many mistakes we can make while camping and with our gear.
