just bought a 2019 Hummingbird

Hi,
we just bought a 2019 hummingbird used. love the trailer but it came with no manuals. i have been able to get most of the information and manuals off the web. the trailer came with this tool, it's steel, it's black, about 14" long and has a hook looking thing welded to a heavy gage steel tube. can anybody tell me what this is for?

I think it’s for your weight distribution/sway control hitch, to help get the chains or bars in place. There is also a great Hummingbird owners group on Facebook. Lots of experience, help, tips and mods. Congrats on you new trailer.

Definitely sounds like it is for the WDH. Did a WDH come with?

Can you post a picture of the bar?

thanks for the help everyone that replied. The "thing" is for the WDH. unfortunately that is the only part of the system that came with the trailer.
we've put about 2000 miles on it with out a WDH system and it seems to tow fine behind my 98' Ford F-150 4x4. i added coil-over shocks to the truck just before we bought the trailer.
