New from Cincinnati

New member, but not a newbie to rv's and campers. I'm also a member of several other camping forums as well.

We currently have two camping units, a 2016 Jayco Greyhawk 29mv, and a 2015 Keystone Hideout 38fqds.

We took our Greyhawk across the US last June for a month long adventure.....loved every minute of it.

Have had some minor issues with the Greyhawk but over it's a great rv.

Did you get it at COLERAIN? Used to be in the Queen City, but FL has much better winters.

We did buy from Colerain! Have had a great experience with them so far. Our other camper came from Holman RV. Been lucky dealing with both businesses over the years.

Do think both are top notch. Bought first TT from Colerain in 1977 and all but 1 came from them. The other 1 was from Holman's in 1985 when mom and dad (Mary & Glenn) were there. They used to sell STARCRAFT until mid 90's.

That's awesome. Glad to know others feel the same! Our first two travel trailers came from Delightful Days in Walton Ky, but they don't carry quite the inventory or selection we needed when it came time to replace our old 2006 gulfstream conquest back in 2015. So we went to Holman because they had lots of larger "park model" style camper to choose from, and we were able to order the exact Keystone we wanted. We lucked out on the Greyhawk by going to the Dayton RV show last year....had almost bought another class c by forest river from Camping World but that was a bust....and in hindsight it was really a blessing. Can't wait to get the Jayco out....but the Hideout at the seasonal site is calling to us to get it opened up. The Jayco will have to wait until we open the seasonal, then we may get it out before we take it to Disney in May. Although we did a quick overnight to Missouri at the beginning of this month......reason why is a long story. But for this trip it was just to sleep in for the night we were out and to tow back the utility trailer we went to recover from there.

Hello Barracuda, although I have been 'camping' for many years - I am fairly new to RVing. I bought my 1st RV last Spring from Colerain. I got a 2016 Jayflight 27BHS. I also live in Colerain Twnshp so I am only 5 minutes from the dealership.
I'm taking my 1st trip of 2017 this weekend at Paint Creek State Park and doing some kayaking. Have also been kayaking for many years! Would like to meet some more RVers in the Cinti area. Hope to see you at a camp sometime!
BTW do you kayak or canoe?

We don't kayak or canoe, but at Mineral Springs Lake Resort we where we have our seasonal spot in Adams County there are lots of other campers there who kayak and canoe on the beautiful lake. (We have a pontoon boat). The lake is a 100 acre man-made spring fed lake.

The lake opens for the season on April 1st. Usually pretty easy to get a reservation almost any time.

The lake also offers atv/utv trails, small playground, and beach area.

Thanks for the tip. It looks like a pretty place to visit, I'll definitely look into the lake there!. I've always thought about getting a pontoon boat so I could explore more of the bigger lakes. Just put some kayaks on the pontoon and find some remote areas or feeder creeks on the lakes to drop my kayaks and go scouting!

Message me if you plan to make a trip out sometime We may be able to meet up with you and cruise the lake or take you on a utv ride.

Back Again

It's been a long time since my last posts. But we are back with a few changes. Just picked up our new 2024 Jayco Alante 29F from Blue Compass RV (Formerly Colerain RV). We've also changed up our toys over the last year too.
