New G2 32BHDS Owner in MI

Picked up a G2 32BHDS on April 2. Purchased it as the show model, and got what I thought was a great deal. Was not sure that I wanted to own another trailer (my 2002 Dutchmen leaked and complete front rotted from inside out), but decided to get it for the 3 weeks and 3 weekends we will use it. It is nice to be able to stay at fair each night, instead of commuting home.

My 4 daughters are very busy with school, sports, scounts, 4H, and other organizations, so we do not get much time. Vacations prior to fair mean that we need to get animal caregivers, so we are limited.

Originally was looking for a lighter trailer, but since I kept my Yukon XL 2500 with 8.1, I had the necessary tow vehicle.

I hope I do not have the leaking issues. The trailer is stored inside for winter (at least six months).

Have a great day!

Welcome to the Jayco Forums Dadof4Girls! (you have me beat by 3 girls!)

Inspect the roof for cracks a couple of times a year and keep it well maintained and you should be in great shape! Enjoy your new setup!

Welcome to the Jayco forums.

For piece of mind, while your Jayco is under warranty I would take it to your RV dealership every spring/fall and have all the caulked joints, seams, windows, lights, roof vents, etc., checked for integrity. Doing this will also create a documented preventive maintenance trail. Once out of warranty you can preform these twice a year inspections, or take it back to the dealership.

Enjoy the new TT.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum DadOf4Girls! I like the floorplan or your new tt. A few members have given others here a head's up on the 'dry fit' windows that Jayco installs. Adding that on your list of caulkings to check and you should be good.

Welcome to the forum Dadof4Girls and congrats on your G2 32BHDS. Nice floorplan for your family. That door leading from the outside directly to the head is very handy. Have the girls drawn straws yet for their bunks?
