New Jayco Jay Flight owner

Hey Folks! First time Jayco owner but long time camper. We are taking delivery on our Jay Flight 29 BHDB this Friday. Trading in our Shasta Revere.
We love the double bath floorplan, 15k btu a/c, electric awning, large shower, and 2 yr. standard warranty. A new thing for me to figure out is how to set up drain hoses for 2 gray tanks and 2 black tanks (one set per bathroom). This unit has 2 separate dump connections (one forward and aft). Looks like I'll need to purchase additional hoses and a Y connector. Feeling luck I found this forum! My old forum will probably give me the boot once they've learned I've gone Jayco LOL!

Cheers!

Welcome to Team Jayco!

I snuck away from two previous forums and they haven’t found me yet!

Thank you John! I see you are in my neck of the woods. How does your Jay flight A/C handle the Florida summers? Our Shasta has the 13.5k BTU unit and always struggles in the summer time. We are looking forward to the bigger 15kbtu unit!

Welcome from Southern California!

Congratulations on the new camper. I'm envious of the extra holding tanks.

Take a look at what snowbird did here:

Maybe you can do something similar? Half the fun is doing mods!

Cheers,

Jeff.

Done deal!

Following up on our delivery this past Friday. Everything went pretty smooth with the PDI. The outdoor kitchen slide out is getting replaced (minor water damage). I also found out (once home) that the Dometic A/C thermostat push button cover does not work correctly. Emailed Dometic and hoping for the upgraded cover soon. First trip planned for labor day weekend!

Thank you for the warm welcomes!
