New Jayco Whitehawk 24MBH Owner and member

Good afternoon All. We are new owners of a 2018 Whitehawk 24MBH and took this beauty out over the 4th of July week to Tyler State Park in Texas. We previously owned a Shamrock 23IKSS but decided that we wanted something fully enclosed with easy set up/tear down. We bought this unit due to the Murphy bed not taking away from any under carriage storage, the 2 AC units, full outside kitchen, the double over double bunk beds, bike rack and many others. We truly loved this unit and wife was truly happy, so that is the only thing that matters.

Very nice selection!!! The murphy bed really makes this small footprint camper really live-able. I really like my 24MBH and wanted to share some pics of turning the "under the couch area into useful storage". Taking the arms off the couch make using the side cabinets much easier. I removed the 1"x1" fir cross member and replaced it with a square aluminum stock, front and back. I braced the front aluminum bar where it attaches to the side frame with a heavy duty shelf bracket from Home Depot. No picture, but the front kick panel is held on by attaching some of those super strong magnets to the kick panel where it mates up with those black steel bracks at the top of the wooden legs. Once you're done installing a few simple braces, you have tons of room to use properly sized plastic tubs to store tons of stuff. Here ya go:
