New owner and new full timer

Hello from el Paso but soon to be in Medicine Park. This is my first 5th wheel and my first time living in a trailer full time. As such, I constantly feel like I am missing something. I sold my brick and mortar house in April and picked up my 18 jayco north point the next day. I have been living in it full time for almost a month now and am getting ready for my first move ( medicine park, outside of lawton. I would appreciate any advice any one may have. Thank you and have a great day

18 northpoint 381dlqs, no tow vehicle, I have a 16 Tacoma that I love and can't see getting rid of in order to tow this once every three years. Another reason I am nervous...and yes, I am in the army.

Were Just like you. Might move once every year or so. We have been full timing for 5 years and when the job moves so do we, not only the 5ver but a 28 foot cargo trailer as well as we have a golf cart and it stores all my tools and DW christmas decorations and such. No we don't double double if we move, we make 2 trips. The only issue that comes that is the most important to our situation is tires. because we move only one time here and there it forces us to place the unit up on blocks to save the tires. We replaced the tires with sailun G rated tires, if you have E rated tires replace them ASAP because E rated tires wont hold the stress of a fully loaded full timer. Avoid Goodyear marathons or any low priced china bombs. Lug Balance your new tires and your unit will thank you along with your belongings. There are many good transporters out there if and when you need to move so you don't need to worry about that. Good luck with your new unit and new life style as we love it.
