New Owner Check In

Greetings everyone,

My wife an I recently purchased a 2017 Jayco Hummingbird 17RB. It's our first TT, so we've have been working through the manual and surfing the web looking for good ideas, comments and recommendations - luckily we ran across this forum early.

We took our TT up to northern AL the first weekend we had it (the weekend that Hurricane Irma hit Tampa), and it handled great up and back - with the traffic and gas situation providing some great "first trip" stories. That said, we had a great time, met some excellent (and helpful) folks, and are looing forward to hitting the road again this weekend.

I've got a few questions that I'll add as seperate posts, but I wanted to introduce myself and say "Hi" before I dived in. Looking forward to y'all's sage advice as we trek!

Wade

Welcome to JOF. Wow, you sure took that first trip at the perfect time. Hope there was no damage at home.

Join in and ask away. We are a pretty friendly place to hang out.

Welcome and congrats on your Hummingbird RB. We have the same model, the Hummingbird RB. This is our first travel trailer as well. Took it on a two month, 10,000 mile trip this summer through 5 provinces and 11 states. It worked out great, a very well put together trailer. Be happy to help you any way I can.
