New Pinnacle owner from Cincinnati

Greetings, and thank you for having us. My wife and I upgraded to a 2016 Pinnacle 36FBTS. We owned a Jayco Eagle for 10+ years and had zero issues. With that kind of track record we decided to invest in the front bath Pinnacle as our retirement coach. The front bath was the only option to consider if you ask my wife.
We recently traveled to Michigan and took delivery of our “new to us” one-owner unit at an extremely competitive price. Overall we are thrilled with the condition and the price we paid as compared to a new one. That being said, the coach is just over 4 years old (manufactured June 2015) and like I said is in great condition. I’d like to ask the group if anyone has experienced any issues with the 2016 Pinnacle or has heard of any issues this model year has. I’m hoping to learn if there is something I need to know about in advance of it breaking down. If so, I’d like to be proactive and implement some preventative maintenance that might save us some money. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Welcome from Western NY State! We don't have a 5er, so unfortunately no help on your question, but glad you're here.

Congratulations and welcome!

Not sure on the ‘16 Pinnacles, but the ‘17s have Lippert axles and several folks have had issues with them so as a precaution may want to take a look at that. IIRC the springs are too soft and the tires rub on the bottom of the coach.

We too had an Eagle prior to the Pinnacle and have been very happy with both. Yes, the Pinnacle has had its share of “teething” issues, but we’re well on our way to getting them all sorted out.

Thanks for the information. I checked and it seems like mine are good to go as there isn’t any signs of rubbing. This is something that I haven’t heard of being an issue before. Thank you for the insight.
