On my 2018 Jay Feather 23RL there is a 'solar ready' connector on the front frame rail for a two pin Ford connector. Sticker next to it says 20amp capacity. It grounds direct, and hooks into the battery feed in the junction box on the first crossmember. Just because it says 'solar ready', that is a misleader. I would not hook 20amp uncontrolled solar up to my battery(s). I do not install portable solar panels for this reason: When you install on the roof, they are always in sunlight; they are never in the way; they are there when you need them; you don't have to store them. The 12 guage lead is marginal and I always put 10 guage on 12 volt 200 watt installs with a controller.
If there are two screw holes below the signage on the underside of frame rail that announces 'solar ready', the connector has been removed.
