Second Jayco now in service
didn't start RVing until 2012, with a Jayflight Swift SLX 185RB. Four years and around 15k miles later, decided to switch brands, and increase length. That didn't work out as planned. Although the XL designation is for weight consideration, it falls short in a lot of other areas necessary to make RVing enjoyable. Even though, I went on 16 outings in 23 months, towed 13.5k miles.
Now I have a slide, Jayfeather 23RL with all the upgrades Camping World could package on it. I have yet to take it on its first outing, but I can tell you from just towing it home (over 200 miles) it is WAY better behind my F-150 that the previous trailer. First reason: The front axle is 18" farther back from the hitch and the trailer is 600 lbs heavier and only 8" total length longer.
I am impressed with the details, the better fit and finish, higher quality appointments from the recent previous unit. Next step will be to add necessary stuff to add bumper platform and flagpole. Already have the bigger LP gas tanks on it, handing stuff in the basement storage.
