Tent Camper Gone Pop-up

Hi everyone!

My girlfriend and I just purchased our first camper last summer and started our adventure traveling around the mid-west from Illinois. Our camper was a spur of the moment purchase and it couldn't have been a better decision. We purchased a 2005 Jayco Jay Series 806 pop-up camper. It has all the basics we would ever need to do camping with some creature comforts and not stretch too far into RV'ing. I am originally a tent camper, but after getting into a pop up I feel it was a great step in the right direction. I hope to learn from other pop-up owners and and share some awesome memories!

Welcome from Lake County. We, like many others on the forum, started out in a popup. We traded up to a travel trailer last year. We are always happy to help.

You'll find as you get older you want to get farther off the ground. We went from tent to popup to tt.
You won't regret. And too think we were once died in the wool tent campers, enjoyed it to no end, but it ended with the pop-up and haven't looked back.
But we do have MANY found memories along the way.
