Welcome Post and 2016 Eagle 324BHTS Wiring Schematics
This is my first post. My name is Matt Jabs and I have a 2016 Eagle 324BHTS. We live in Lansing Michigan and have already used our camper a ton of times, including a few months in Destin, FL last Jan/Feb.
One of the first mods I performed was to install a MaxxAir MaxxFan in the bathroom powered vent location. It worked so well I wanted to put one in the bunkroom, but there was no power to that vent.
I removed the inside vent shroud and could not see any prewired 12v lines, so I called Jayco to ask for a wiring schematic. They quickly emailed me the 12v and 120v wiring schematics, which I have attached to this post for others to see and use.
Note: the "color coded wires" would have been awesome, but this was far from the case. All the 12v lines were black and white (see pic of the mess of wires behind the panel). So I found some wires running by the ceiling vent, traced them back to find the black (hot) wire on the #7 fuse I wanted to tie into, and tap spliced into the line. I did the same with a white (ground) wire and tested for 12v with my multimeter. Success. Easy Peasy.
Now I'll be installing my 2nd MaxxAir MaxxFan, which will go a long way in regulating the temperature in that bunkroom!
