Thanks. I thought the email was a phishing scam at first.

$98, but you should know the subscription is non-transferable.

I forgot how easy the RV Trip Planner was to use. In five minutes I had my summer information stored and started checking reviews for road stop nights.

No luck with RV Trip Wizard travel planner
No luck with RV Trip Wizard travel planner, downloaded from Android play store, took forever to load then screen went blank on phone. Using Androyd 6+ phone, maybe to old for program.

Toad, not sure about RV Life on that version of Android, but RV Trip Planner really works best on the desktop for planning purposes. You can always print out the maps, and or export to other devices.

This seems to be a thread with a few RV Life Pro users. I'm planning my second major trip with the software and am liking it more and more. I'm trying to work out a couple things. I figured out how to drag the route to the highway I wanted to take, but it took multiple drags. For example we want to take the Natchez Trace but each chance there is to jump back to a main highway requires another drag over. I also inadvertently created some waypoints.
Also, it does everything possible to avoid crossing international boundaries, which makes perfect sense for 99% of the users. It was a simple change to add Quebec to the route. But I'm not certain I want to go through Quebec and would like to see what route the app would suggest through Canada versus the default along the northern US border.

The route engine is a fairly robust engine, especially the advanced driving radius feature for planning, but there are some road restrictions that we often find that we have to double check the route. Not sure about the international border thing, other than maybe the time it takes to process through the border vs any settings you set for your trip options..... might have something to do with it. I double check with our RV GPS just win case when I see a route that takes us a little out the way, but most of the time it's because we are 40K lb Motorhome....

I know it sounds like a commercial but the more I'm using the app the more I like it. The advanced driving app does exactly what I've wanted all my other GPS apps to do, give me my real world range. We use the service on a PC, an iPad, and an Android phone and it all works together nicely. Now to see how I can get it working via Andoid auto in my truck . . .

I still use it all the time to plan, the ability to copy previous trips, have different statuses for trips, active, inactive and archived, allows me to plan some potential trips and save them, keeping them out of the way until we pick one and pullbit over to active. Change the start date and everything aligns.
I've also started to use the Maintenance site, and I'm really enjoying that, planning out my mods and service for the upcoming year.
