A Real Crappy Day

This is a recent post from a friend if mine on another forum that is just too funny not to share:

"It was just one of those days...

"I need to preface this story by saying I have 1.5 teenagers and 1.5 dogs in my house (split family) and a few months ago I bought a Roomba robot sweeper for the main floor that is mostly hardwood and a few area rugs. It's been great and amazing the dirt and dog hair that gets collected every other day.

"So today I have to take my son to school early to make up some work with a teacher and then back home to wake up my daughter and then back to school to get my son and take him to a Dr. appt. While there I find out my daughter didn't get to school because she fell back asleep, so call her 3 times to wake her up and get her going, then back to school with my son and off to home to get my daughter going...then her to school and back home (good thing I'm retired!)

"Well, the new dog is a rescue and still afraid of men (go figure) and I can't get her to go out to do her business, but she had a chance earlier. Off to get my daughter and then back home.

"Well, the Roomba is pretty smart with an app that tells you what it needs and it says it's stuck which happen on occasion between the couch and foot stool. I pick it up and smell something awful...yes the pooch put a pile in the corner and the Roomba rolled over it and then tracked it all over the house, grinding it into the rugs in several spots as it was attempting to negotiate table legs. What a mess! Took me an hour to clean the intricate parts of the machine and then the entire floor and carpet areas.

"But I had time to go pick up this treasure that I won at a local auction last night and console myself...

"I came home an promptly knocked over my first beer as I sat down to relax, but the day wasn't a total loss... "
