Bug-a-Salt
Came accross this bug gun today on the net. Anybody try one? Looks to me like it might be the new must-have for the campsite.
The ad video on the site is hilarious!

Thanks. The must have comment was a little tongue and cheek. Aside from a roll of tp not much actually falls into the must have category.
Does it actually work? We were thinking it might be a fun gift for the father-in-law. He's one of those guys that has everything.

The salt compartment lasts a pretty long time.
One of the BILs is a machinist so always looks to improve things. He put a small screw in to keep the safety lever back for faster firing.

Buy an electric bug swatter.....Harbour Freight had them for $3 or $4. Bought them for all of our camping friends a bunch of years ago. They work well, fun to play with and only use 2 d cell batteries.

Maybe you were using too fine a salt... they say regular table salt works best

I'd like to have one. I have the electric fly swatter thing with the safety net guard thing removed to allow for wasps and dirt dobbers. Could only get small bugs with the smaller net on. Works well and pretty fun.
