For me, the "double click" problem went away when I upgraded to IE 11.

You might have something there. I've been getting pop-ups wanting me to upgrade to that yesterday. I might have gave in.

No double click on Chrome either. IE is now my back up browser, so I guess I should get over there and upgrade to the 11 version
