Great customer service from Magma Products!
Magma Products deserve to be recognized as having an excellent customer service team.
Back story: We have a Magma propane grill, that was marketed for West Marine several years ago. I think we got it from Ebay around 2005 or 2006. It looks like a little UFO. The model was discontinued somewhere along the line, and although it's similar to what they make now, some of the components are no longer available.
We needed a new burner plate, so off went an email to Magma, hoping for some help. A response came back within a day, that they were checking with guys in engineering for one that may fit our very old unit. The following day, Danelle emailed good news. They have one that'll fit like the original one, after they make some bends to it, and it'll be shipped out that day.
So kudos to Danelle, and all the background people she works with, that made this happen. They didn't have to go to the trouble that they did to sell me a measly part, when they could've told me I needed to buy a whole new grill. Maybe it's just me, but I find their help exceptional, and it's that kind of caring, that'll make me buy another of their products down the road. If it lasts as long as it has, that'll be in another 15 years or so!
Just one more company that made us happy campers!
