Well we hear how long the odds are and they always give a huge number. But one guy put it in perspective today on TV. He said the odds of winning are the same as placing a line of pennies from the east coast to the west and only one penny has an X marked on it. Driving in your car you would have to randomly stop, pick up a penny and it be the one to have the X on it to win. Those are slim odds indeed!

But even with those odds, somebody has to win . . . . eventually. That's why they say that tickets are selling Wed night at the rate of 130,000 per minute, I guess. As for me, though, I'd rather waste my $2 on a cup of popcorn at the movies, or even an automatic car wash. At least you definitely have something to show for it - for a while.

WOW Tinlizzie, are things still that affordable in VA...$2 for movie popcorn or car wash. Those are both minimum $6 here :-)
I know, a little off topic but I couldn't resisit.
Best of luck to all the PowerBall Players.

If you win, you'll have to invite us all to your Southern hideout for a campout :-)

Yeah, Clubhouse - some things here in our little town are still reasonable. Local newspaper is still only 50 cents, too. And way back a few years, this town decided it no longer needed the tax money generated by the town and county license plates that you had to buy in addition to the VA plates, so it abolished the tax and plates.

If he wins he won't buy a new Jayco, he'll buy the company!

I was hoping you would not log in today. At the very least I was hoping for a nice Christmas card out of your winnings. Not asking for much.
