We had to cancel our labor day plans a few months ago due to a scheduling conflict. We were supposed to be in Ocean city this weekend, but looks like we didn't miss anything. My wifes cousins are down there now and say that most campers are staying. I'm almost glad we didn't get to go this wkend.

We managed to miss most of it. Had 1.9 inches of rain at our house but we were already set up at Whitewater Park about 30 miles away. Very little rain and hardly any wind. We made out great but really feel for those that got caught in the path. Prayers out for those who suffered. Stay safe everyone.

Outer banks

A suspected tornado spun off from Hermine hit a campground on the NC Outer Banks. Fortunately no one was killed but several campers were totaled. That had to be very frightening.

And a truck driver was killed on Alligator bridge when his truck overturned in 80+ winds.

Darn shame on the timing of this storm. Ruined a lot of good camping trips.
