New 2019 Airstream Tommy Bahama Coach, Only $175k

Was at our local fall RV show today, the big news was several new 2019 Airstream models would be on the floor after a 20 year absence. The highest priced unit was the Tommy Bahama Coach, starts at $175k, I was not impressed, the quality was ok but there sure isn't much room inside. The Flying Cloud 26 footer was much nicer, great quality, starts at $91k

Our first RV was an Airstream Excella. I don't know for sure if the issues we had with it were because we bought it used or if they were just Airstream issues. Water leaks, floor rot in the rear, etc. Anyway, I don't miss it a bit.

My wife just mentioned an Airstream the other day for the first time in years. Still not going to buy another one anytime soon. Been there, done that, cured of the Airstream bug. Sure not paying $100+K for one.

The one thing I do give them credit for is knowing how to use space well. They pack more features and storage in a small space better than any other manufacturer.

Naw, not even if I won the Lotto. Now an overpriced truck - that's another story.

What's wrong with me?

We saw it at the RV show here a month ago... it was nicely done for fit and finish, but it reminded me of my old 14-foot Aristocrat Low Liner inside - but felt smaller.

Wow. For $91k I could buy my 26-foot Jayco and a brand new F-250 diesel and still have over 20 grand left over. Can’t believe anything is that good.
