October trip

We started out going to Albany/Corvallis KOA. We have a daughter that lives in Corvallis. The biggest point was to be in range to make it to OHSU on Friday to talk to a specialist in Meniere’s Disease. There is not enough money in doing research in it so there has not been much changes over the last few years. After Portland we went back down Highway 97 and did some looking around in the Chemult/Diamond Lake Jct area. We spent until today Sat 10/21/2018 parked there in the boondocks. WOW is that pummy a dusty place to camp in. I did think I got some good pics. Some pics are from the tram landing at OHSU looking over Portland. The rest are where we parked the travel trailer for a few days. Those are pics of Mount Thielsen. I did a guestament with the GPS and weare about 12.4 miles away as the crow flies.

Here is also what happened on our outing:

Just so you can put a face to the name, who does all the 'machine gun' posting, sometimes.

Me, Judy and my daughter, Lauryn.

Just checked into Edisto Beach SP, only 50 miles from home. We are here often, laid back, quiet, on the ocean and lots of fresh seafood.
Great weather of blue skies, highs in mid 70’s and lows in low 50’s.
Time to chill out.

that sound fantastic Norty. I'm up here in CT. the only pulling I did was yesterday, took the camper up to the dealer for a new tongue jack. Now back home, parked for the winter.

EXACTLY! My daughter w/ Autism does not like begin away from home. She will reluctantly camp. When we go we ride our tandem bike...it's 'the thing' she loves when camping. We logged 265 miles this past spring/summer. I try to find any way to keep her less in her own 'bubble' and take her into situations she'd much rather avoid.
