Original Jaws kept breaking down so Spielberg couldn't show as much as he wanted too.

Followed the old monster movie adage - let people imagine what scares them the most.

VMRC votes to close all peeler crabbing Sept 16 and not reopen until May 1. That eliminates the late season runs and mid- late April run in the lower creeks. Bushel limits also reduced in various stages depending on license size. Arrrggh.

They claim there was a 30% die off last Winter, so we have to pay for it. But I`m seeing lots of small crabs in my pots....

I'll be on the Piankatank over the holiday at friends...we can usually get a dozen keepers every 2-3 days with 4-5 pier pots....we'll see.

Is it warm water do you think?

Our Dungeness and Red Rocks got cut short a bit.
