Shelf paper
What is better than shelf paper? It always bunches up!

Buy a good shelf liner and many of them are non skid. Got mine at WalMart

We use "scootgard" and I staple it in place- JMHO- DD

We got some of the non-skid stuff at Lowes. DW cut it to size and used a bit of velcro for, as she called it, added protection.
