Took the Seneca out for the first long (ish) drive today. Brought it home from the dealership a couple of days ago. Discovered how exhaust brakes work (jake brake). Spent some time on a windy mountain road, and listened to some horrible whistling once it crested 50 mph or so. Going to cover the holes on the mirrors with some electrical tape and take it for another spin.

We stay at Rivers End campground. My mother-in-law loves Tybee Island and Rivers End, so we take her every year for a week.

Pop-Up Gizmos
I ordered a set of High-Wind Pop-Up Gizmos for our 2015 X23B. We first became aware of these last summer when we saw a set on a similar TT. At the time, the price for a set was going to be almost $200 delivered. I called today and the current price is $122 delivered. I could maybe cobble something together from space blankets, but my wife knows how those projects usually turn out.

Somehow I managed to bust the outside electrical outlet. Not the best design but I managed to break one of the ears, bust the center out where the screw for the cover attaches an bent the other ear. Thought I'd get smart an go for a GFI. After wiring it in realized there's no where to screw the cover to it so I installed a regular outlet. I wrapped the heck out of the backside an sides with electrical tape an used some of my woodworking screws to attach BOTH sides of the receptacle to the wood then put it all back together. See how it goes.
Tomorrow will be changing out the power inlet to a plug an play twist lock

The outside receptacle is already wired in series with a GFI on the inside of your trailer, so no need to install another GFI.

You are going to love it. Wait until it rains and you can actually hear your television, enjoy your a/c's cycling in the summer time. Mine was was done in Madison also a little over 3 years ago.

Didn't think of that at the time my instinct told me I should put one there since it was outside. It worked out I have a bullet proof receptacle now.

Love our High Wind PUGs. Used them on our pop-up and now on our 2018 17SB. Coupled with Reflectix inserts cut to fit in the windows, the bunks stay very comfortable, even on really hot days. Added benefit the combination keeps the bunks darker in the morning so everyone sleep longer.

Put the SnapPads on all 6 legs. Took less than 30 mins.

Pulled the battery, and put it on the charger in the garage. For some unknown reason, the htt is popping the GFCI outlet in the garage. Tried 4 different extension cords and 3 different GFCI outlets in the garage. The weather is crappy, so it is unplugged for now. This weekend, I'll try a different plug adapter, before really digging into it. But 1st I'm going to let the new snow melt. We had considered camping this weekend, but we decided to wait until repairs are made.
