If you end up over this way, Western NY, let me know as our town of which I'm a board member has a RV park on the lake Erie shore. Safe travels my brother in arms!

Bunk Removal and Storage
I removed the bunk in my Jayco JayFlight SLX 184BS. Added storage and organized stuff.
I am a fulltime RV'er that is currently stationary for the most part.
Question for yall - How do I keep stuff from falling during travel?
My next projects are organizing my cabinets and under bunk storage.
Also if a MOD could help reorient the pics, that would be great.

Replaced foam in dinette benches
I'm a full timer, so my trailer gets a lot more wear & tear than most. After 10 years, the foam rubber in the dinette cushions was just shot. I had ordered some replacement foam rubber from Amazon a while back (actually came from "Foam to Go") but hadn't gotten around to replacing it yet. So, Saturday, I took the old foam out of the covers, and took the covers to the laundromat for a good leaning. And today, I cut the new foam to size with an electric carving knife and worked it back into the covers.
The new foam rubber is a true upholstery grade and is so much firmer than the old ones. Now my but doesn't bottom out on the plywood base. They look and feel GREAT!

Today I changed both fuel filters and greased all 11 Zerk fittings.
Yesterday I change the engine oil and filter.
Day before yesterday I change the oil / filter, air filter, and fuel filter on the Genny.
YouTube Videos will be out shortly.

Is that enough grease fittings? Brake slack adjusters, steering gearbox, kingpins, drag link, tie rod ends, all universal joints and driveshaft slip joint?

My bad, did not read before clicking post. It should have said 23 Zerks. There are 11 zerks just on the drive shaft (2 per u-joint plus 1 on the slip), 7 on the drivers front and 5 on the passenger front.
for a total of 23.

I also posted on the wrong forum, I should have put it under "what did you do to your RV today" instead of "Modifications".

Did you get your slack adjusters too? Rears very hard to see from underneath!

I’m in pre-trip mode also. Next week we take our camper to the Texas coast where it will stay for the next 6 months. We are ready for some sun, fishing and excellent food.

Yesterday I got new Goodyear Endurance tires installed on the trailer. Discount tire did a great job with installation. It took them about an hour.
I also got an oil change in the Silverado. That took longer, but now I'm ready for Spring camping. My first trip will be to see the eclipse in April.

Over the last couple of weeks I've completed the following in preparation for our first trip out in a couple of weeks:
* - Repacked wheel bearings/inspected brakes
* - Dewinterized and checked plumbing for leaks
* - Inspected propane lines and tested all appliances
* - Washed the exterior and polished the front cap with Meguiars #67

Winterized. With the approach of the first day of spring the temps are getting colder. We returned from Florida in a mild stretch and thought just maybe we could refrain from rewinterizing
The lake may be icing up again for the fourth time this winter.

Pine pollen season seems to have ended here in south Georgia so I washed the roof and inspected it. Going on a short trip next week. Next-up, sanitizing the water system.

Changed the converter because we had no 12 volt power. Got it all hooked up and nothing. Couldn't figure it out until I was back in Illinois. WHAM!!!! I forgot to turn the battery disconnect on. Drove back to Wisconsin. Turned it on and now it all works. What a day

Greased wheel bearings. Removed recently installed AC soft starts from both AC units that were causing my inverter to overload and my watchdog surge protector to trip offline. Now everything runs fine.
