Auspit Outdoor Campfire Spit...Anygood?

Has anyone tried the Auspit? Any pros or cons?

I don't own one myself but have a friend in the mid-west that does and he seems to like it. Only thing I can recall him saying against it was the fact he couldn't get as much "stuff" (steak in his case) on it as he'd like. I guess the spit just isn't long enough to suit him??

I saw those listed in a camping article somewhere, they are a really simple concept.
