BBQ Ribs
So on our last camp out, one of the activities for me was smoking some ribs. Turned out great, just one problem, should have made more.

Your neighbors' noses were undoubtedly twitching like Samantha's.

Hey Michael------Bet those were delicious. Looks like you are using a smokanator. How do you like it? Just purchased one last week and have not used it, but hope to soon. I smoke ribs here at home on a Big Green Egg, but am gonna take the kettle with me in the RV so I can smoke at our campsite. Did you have any trouble fitting the three racks in the kettle? Looks like you used a rib holder. I bought a hover grill also and hope I can smoke about 5 racks. Will see. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Nice job on the ribs! I've been using my Masterbuilt electric smoker lately, but prefer to use my Weber Smoky Mountain. I'm just a little too tight with my money right now to be buying bags of charcoal. The electric smoker does a fair job, but it's nowhere near as good as smoking with charcoal, or better yet, with wood coals.
This is a pork loin I smoked a couple of weeks ago. Tasted pretty darned good!

Yes it is the smokenater. That weber is the 26.75 model so I can fit 5 racks in a holder. I have used my smokenater for ribs and rib roast (prime rib). I like it, works well. I also have a 22.5 weber and am thinking about getting the weber smokey mountain 22.5 smoker. Need to save a little cash for that yet.

I use a Bradley smoker for ribs and they turn out great. I use the 3,2,1 method. 3 hours of smoke 2 hours in foil with apple juice and finally 1 hour with sauce all at 220 degrees

I love the weber smokey mountain. I have the 18 and it will go over 10 hrs on a single load in any weather. I took concrete block an made a 3 walled wind block and now can smoke in 40 mph winds if I want. I had lawn chairs blowing by one day I was out there lol!

I too have a 22.5" WSM and love it. With some practice it's easy to get 10-12 hr cooks on a single charcoal load.
I see them on Craigslist fairly often. Many people buy them and just lose interest. I got mine for there for $100 -- couldn't pass up that price.

That was a steal! So easy and expert results. I use the bbq pit boys rib rub but add a few things. Very good by itself and not a bunch of things that won't be in the pantry. Ribs looked great by the way.
