110-Volt receptacles or lack off at kitchen counter

Well, I am in process of getting things packed and ready to go camping for the first time on our 2019 Jayco Octane Super Lite 273 Toy Hauler and I am shocked to find there are no 110-volt receptacles at all anywhere on the back splash at kitchen counter. The closest one is right next to the counter in the "garage" area so if I wanted to put a coffee maker under the counter to the right of the sink I would need an extension cord to plug it in. So far I have been very disappointed in the quality of this camper and the pure lack of what I would call normal items for anyone camping.
This is my fourth camper but it is my first toy hauler so I have had other brands and so far this Jayco can't hold a candle to the quality and craftmanship that was in my previous RV's.
I guess when I get back I will install a couple of receptacles myself.
One example of the poor workmanship was found under the steps at the amber light that was put there to illuminate the step area at night. I replaced this light with a different color and when I removed the light I was surprised to see that the manufacture used a torch to blow a rather large hole in the frame rail for the wire. The hole was larger than the actual light they installed. I ended up getting a larger base light so I could cover the entire hole which was the size of a golf ball just for one wire.
Another issue is the Camper sits so high off the ground even when on level concrete that the 4 scissor jacks are almost all the way extended just to touch the ground. Why in the world this unit has to be so high and if so, the manufacturer should have used a different style jack.
Just venting my frustrations.
Thanks for listening.

Do you have upper cabinets in the kitchen area? Some times they put outlets on the bottom of the upper cabinets. Look closely underneath. Other times, they put outlets on the sides of the cabinets.

Look at the bottom of the upper cabinets over the sink. Should be two there. My two trailers do. They are not in the back splash because of the ALM/Styrofoam vacuum walls. If you look around you probably not see any in the side walls of your unit. NEC says each counter top over 12" shall have an outlet.

I use 2" x 6" blocks under my jacks. I keep a couple of 4 x 4's handy in case. It's not just a Jayco thing. My Forrest River Wildcat and my Thor Keystone have the same problem.

Jayco is considered an entry level unit by many. Good 1st time starter unit.

Edit: Not inside in the bottom. Under the bottom facing down at the counter top.

The end of your counter might be a good place for an extension like this.

Good size for a coffee pot or toaster.

If you don't have 12" wide counter tops you won't have an outlet.

How about picking up power from the fridge outlet, and coming through the left side panel of the fridge box? That would give you an outlet to the right of your sink, but it wouldn't be a GFI.

We have a tower outlet that pulls up from the counter top. It is plugged in an outlet that is in a bottom cabinet. Check in your bottom cabinets for an outlet. Maybe they forgot to put a tower in the counter top.

Thanks, There is an outlet in the cabinet that the microwave is plugged into. I mounted a pop-up receptacle in the counter top between sink and stove and changed the plug under cabinet to duplex instead of single and plugged it there.
Thanks again.

Make sure that new outlet is GFI, being you are right next to the sink!

Yep, it is, it is also water proof from spills that occur directly on top of the pop up. Pretty neat device which also has two USB charging ports.
