Battery Trouble

New Jayco owners. Having trouble with the batteries staying charged. Today we have NO power with the batteries. Any help would be welcome. The unit is a 2019 Seismic 4212. Thanks.

CONGRATULATIONS on the JAYCO!!!

...and WELCOME TO JOF!!! The members here are GREAT!!! There is a lot of GREAT information to be found here. I am sure that you will have information and pictures to share with us... so please do!!

Not sure if your 5er came with a disconnect switch? Some of the JAYCO installed disconnect switches do not TOTALLY disconnect the battery from the trailer. The automatic leveling system is one that I believe stays connected.

Until you figure out if you have a switch or do not, disconnect the battery cable between trips, or leave it hooked up to shore power.

Also, since your battery has already been drained, you will need to keep an eye on it to see if it is still ok.
Do you have a multimeter to check voltages and current?

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new Seismic.

Are you new to RVing and trailers?
Are you boondocking; trailer not plugged into 30amp or 50amp 'shore' power?

I am not sure about past problems but a sudden loss of power could be as simple as a blown fuse.

Also, check your breakers to make sure none are blown. While you are exploring your system check the water in your batteries, make sure your cables are clean and tight.

Last, do some research on this website with with the search function on battery and charging systems care and feeding.
