Ramp for my ramp

Seen this discussed a little on here before, but thought I would bring it up again. I have 2020 Octane 273 that the stock ramp is too steep for my Harley Tri Glide. My tailpipes really really drag when loading. If I raise the front of the trailer and add a some plywood to the end of the ramp they don’t drag, but I am not crazy about getting out the plywood every time to load or unload. I bought a 4 x8 sheet of 3/4 “ oak Plywood and cut it in half. Kind of a pain to place them every time to use the ramp. I also have couple of small 4 x 4 blocks to put under the stock ramp. It all works. Just know there is a easier way long term to do this. Looking to see what others have done. Thank you.

I ended up buying a tri fold ramp from discount ramps to ease the loading angle in my 4113 Seismic. I prop up the Seismic ramp with leveling blocks. Basically three full sets under the center and both sides of the ramp. The folding ramp fits snuggly and I attach the ramp tie down straps to the patio fence mounts just to be safe. I can use the camper ramp by itself when I raise the front but with this tri fold ramp it makes things so much easier. A lot less pucker factor when backing the bike out. Here is the ramp I ordered.

I drove to Texas with my new 161 to pick up a bike I had in storage. I could not get it over the ramp/deck lip as you discussed.

I took a 2x8”x6’ board and laid it on the ramp with brackets that went between the ramp and deck to keep things from sliding down the ramp. That board gave the rear wheel just enough height to clear the lip. I had to use a saw to bevel the top edge or it would strike the bike underside. Later I added a stick-on strip of gritty paper on the board so I had better gripping. This is a 3M product.

Not elegant but works. I am still looking for a better alternative. My wife can’t even look when I back the bike out. I try to show no fear. I have seen a video of a guy using a small powered winch to slowly and controllably handle his two Harley’s in and out.
